Gloria and Trevor's Surprise Proposal in Yosemite National Park.
When Trevor first reached out and told me he was planning to propose to Gloria, I couldn't have been happier for them. Every proposal is special, but getting to photograph one in Yosemite National Park is on another level. Together we planned the perfect morning proposal, choosing Cook's Meadow near Curry Village for its incredible views of Half Dome and the surrounding mountains. We settled on an 8:30 a.m. proposal to take advantage of the quiet morning light before the crowds arrived. On the day of the proposal, I blended in as just another tourist walking around with a camera, waiting for the perfect moment. As soon as I spotted Trevor and Gloria making their way through the meadow, it was game on. Watching everything unfold naturally and capturing the surprise as it happened is one of my favorite parts of being a proposal photographer. I genuinely feel so fortunate that this job allows me to experience some of the most beautiful places in California because of the incredible couples who trust me with such meaningful moments. Photographing Trevor and Gloria's proposal in Yosemite is one I'll never forget.
